Fact 1: I have a blended family of 5 teenagers, two 16 year old girls, two 14 year old girls and a 19 year old boy.
Fact 2: I grew up in South California and moved to Michigan 18 years ago and I absolutely love Winter!
Fact 3: I love to travel and have been to Yosemite National Park over 15 times
Fact 4: I love my current job as an online mentor for a program that is for students that have dropped out of traditional high school.
What I'd like to learn or get out of this course: I am looking to learn as much new technology to help assist my students in their projects. I work in a computer lab with students all day and want to keep them interested, engaged and excited. I want to be able to teach them authentic lessons, that related to their lives, and of course technology is a huge part of their lives.
My favorite game(s): Right now it is the Wii Dance game. I love to be active and my girls will do this with me (of course they are laughing at me most of the time).
