\nI love the concept of older students creating games and having younger students test the games. One of my favorite activities that I have seen over the years is the Reading Buddies program where 6th grade students meet with 1st grade students and read to them. Then the 6th grade students create a book for their 1st grade buddies, writing stories especially for the 1st grader, usually staring the 1st grader. The book is illustrated and bound for the 1st grader to keep, and eventually that 1st grader becomes a 6th grader and gets to pay it back.
